	Large Tender	We will email you instructions on or before 3 August. It is likely that some of the larger yachts will have to anchor in Smith Cove. 	Certification/Disclaimer: Important – Please Read	By submitting this form I (1) certify that my yacht is sound and seaworthy, manned by experienced crew, and has property and third party liability insurance of at least $300,000; (2) agree that the Castine Yacht Club and its officers, race committee and other persons conducting the Castine Classic Yacht Race shall not be responsible for any property damage or personal injury resulting from participation in this event, and that by participating in this event each competitor (owner, skipper and crew) releases each of the aforementioned from any and all liability associated with such competitor’s participation in this event, to the fullest extent permitted by law; (3) acknowledge that competitors participate in this race entirely at their own risk and that it is the sole responsibility of our captain to assure the safety of our yacht and crew and to decide whether to start or continue the race; and (4) agree to be bound by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing that govern this event.
	Spirit of Classic Yacht Races:	These three races epitomize the best of sportsmanship and safe sailing. They are “fun” races of old, priceless, classic yachts, many of which do not regularly race competitively. In this spirit, all skippers are expected to sail conservatively and avoid dangerous situations. Indicate your intentions and, if in doubt, give way.
