GolfThe Castine Golf Course is a challenging and beautifully maintained 9-hole par 35 course. Scottish golf course designer, Willie Park Jr. laid out the current nine holes in 1921, which offers stunning views of Castine Harbor and Blue Hill. The Golf club offers lessons by Pro Shawn Dennis, special programs for youth, and membership golf tournaments throughout the summer. The Castine Women's Golf Association is an active and vital part of the Club, sponsoring a charity event each year and organizing golf for and by women of the CGC. |
YachtingThe Castine Yacht Club, overlooking pristine Castine Harbor and the Bagaduce River, offers members and their guests a broad range of activities. Five moorings are available for visiting yachts with access to showers. Donation is requested. The Sailing Master has a nine week Junior and Adult Sailing Program open to all levels of sailing ability. Summer activities include a Speakers Program, racing events, regattas, weekly kayak tours, and an annual lobster stew dinner. |
TennisThe Castine Tennis Club features four Har-tru tennis courts and is open to the public. The courts are situated next to the golf course and offer a relaxing atmosphere in which to play. USPTA Pro Adrians Zguns has clinics available for all ages and skill levels. Castine is proud of its strong Junior program and now offers a "Davis Cup" clinic for youngsters desiring a more intense level of competition. Guests are welcomed at the Castine tennis programs. Small group lessons may be arranged with the Pro. |

ClubhouseThe clubhouse dates to 1918 and is the focal point of social gatherings for the entire club. During the summer, dinners are served two nights a week preceded by a sociable cocktail hour. Brunches, activity themes and/or entertainment are occasionally offered. Dining reservations are required 24 hours in advance. Complete information can be found on our Clubhouse page. |

About the Castine Community
Castine is a small coastal village located on a peninsula in Maine's East Penobscot Bay region. The town is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is home to two historic forts and more than 100 historic markers.
The village streets are lined with beautifully restored homes and buildings representing 18th century architecture. Area restaurants, inns, art galleries, and gift shops offer the traveler additional activities before and after their visit to the Castine Golf Club.
